Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Bernbeck was born and raised in sunny Southern California. He is dedicated to our beautiful state, the people who live here, and their active lifestlye. He earned his undergraduate degree at UC Irvine, and then attended medical school at the University of Cologne in West Germany. He also attended Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, where he received his medical degree in 1991. He completed a five-year orthopedic residency at USC then did a 12-month fellowship in spinal reconstructive surgery at UCLA.
Dr. Bernbeck performs surgery of the spine in the neck, upper back, and lower back for many different conditions involving the bones, discs, joints, and ligaments. He performs minimally invasive procedures, as well as extensive reconstructions of the spinal column. He is dedicated to helping his patients in a compassionate and caring way.
