I am writing this review for my 85-year-old mother. I am a recently retired chiropractor with 35 years of practice experience. I feel this lifetime of experience has given me a little extra insight when reviewing a physician, particularly when regarding the spine. My mother had lower back, buttock and leg pain which left her unable to walk without bending forward. She could only walk if she was bent forward, using a walker or hanging onto a shopping cart for support. She was unable to stand up straight without experiencing sharp, shooting pain in her buttock and leg. This is called a “Shopping Cart Sign”, which indicates severe spinal stenosis. As you can imagine, I had lots of questions for Dr. Bernbeck. Many of them more technical than the average person would be able to ask. Usually, I would get a second opinion. However, I was so satisfied with Dr. Bernbeck’s demeanor, and his honest, straightforward answers to my questions, that we decided to go forward with the procedure without a second opinion. We could not be more happy with the decision. Following the procedure, Dr. Bernbeck responded quickly to adjust pain medication to keep my mother comfortable. There was usually a return call within two hours. It is now four weeks after surgery. My mother walked a mile yesterday with no pain. There is still some off and on soreness, which Dr. Bernbeck told us we should expect for a few more months. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Bernbeck to any of my friends or colleagues. My review – 10 out of 10.
I had been living with a torn labrum and bone spur in my hip for 6 years. Prior to this discovery I was constantly searching for a reason why my hip hurt all the time. I finally came to Dr. Woodson from a referral from my doctor’s office and he confidently told me he could take care of me. After a couple visits I decided to go thru with the surgery to repair this. He told me once the surgery was complete I would feel no pain. I am amazed and so very pleased!!! NO PAIN IS RIGHT!! My surgery was just 3 days ago and I feel amazing. I am on my way to recovery and just want to say thank you to him and his staff. They reassured me every step of the way all the way to the operating table. I can go on and on……he is a wonderful surgeon and doctor!!!

Dr. Bernbeck is a life changer, please don’t take those words as an overstatement. I’m in my mid 30’s having played sports all my life, I hurt my back in May, tried to tough through the pain and wound up on my back for the full month of October. I saw my primary, 2 chiropractors, a sports chiro/wellness center, and even upon getting an epidural everyone said surgery was in my short term future. Dr. Bernbeck suggested a different path via physical therapy and evolving my workout plan to strengthen the supporting muscles. Here I stand a year post injury feeling better than I have since my 20’s, I have my life back (no pun intended) and couldn’t be more thankful. The thought of back surgery in your 30’s felt like I was going to be giving up so much of what makes me me and now I’m not living in a world of fear of a setback and struggling to get off of the ground. I cannot thank Dr. Bernbeck and the amazing staff for getting me back to me. Who’d have thought that a surgeon’s first move would be to provide a path without surgery rather than just hit go, but that’s exactly what he did.
Dr Arshi changed my life. I had lived in pain for so many years. I put off the knee replacements I knew I needed out of fear. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend him.
